Sunday, August 2: "Properly Seasoned and Well Lit"

Cahaba Springs Church members and friends, GOOD NEWS. Dr. McLeod's and Dr. Earles's Covid test results are NEGATIVE. They have severe upper respiratory infections but not Covid, and the children are unaffected. Let's pray for their speedy recovery and for protection for Jameson, Seamus, and Asa.

THERE WILL BE NO IN-PERSON WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 2, AND WORSHIP WILL NOT BE LIVE-STREAMED ON YOUTUBE. Worship will be recorded and posted on our Facebook page at 11.  Mr. Carl Martin will lead with his sermon "Properly Seasoned and Well Lit," based on Matthew 5:13–20. [Click]

Meanwhile, George Fritsma's reading, "God's Jewelry" [click] is posted on our Facebook page.

Remember to mark your calendar for Sunday, August 23, when we host Lauren and Derek Webber, missionaries to Chogoria, Kenya. A few years ago Lauren and Derek provided leadership in several activities, including our youth outreach, at Eastminster PC. Several of our current members support their medical and spiritual service in Chogoria. We look forward with a sense of personal joy to seeing Lauren and Derek.
