Pastor
deNay Porter Kirkpatrick is a Commissioned Ruling Elder. deNay preaches, leads worship, teaches, and provides pastoral care alongside our team members. deNay is a recently retired Adult Nurse Practitioner. She attended The University of Dubuque Theological Seminary's Christian Leadership Program. deNay and her husband Will live in Vestavia Hills with their son, Sam. They enjoy attending Sam's theatrical performances, traveling, and spending time with extended family.

Music director
Joe Carter directs the music program, including the Chancel Choir. In addition, he is the organist for our worship services and provides musical leadership for weddings, funerals, and other special services.

Kay Carter plays the piano, sings with our choir, and performs solos and duets during our worship services.

administrative assistant
Quenise Nance is our administrative assistant. She oversees our social media content and church communications, creates our weekly and monthly newsletters, assists with facility oversight, and serves as the welcoming face to all who visit CSPC.

The Session
The Session
The Session is the governing body of the congregation, made up of men and women elected as elders by the congregation for three-year terms. Responsibility for the mission and work of the church is divided among committees, led by members of the Session.
