George Fritsma

Updated: Mar 27, 2020

Bob Quarles, a Birmingham resident, is our featured Genesis Gallery photographer through April 30, 2020. Bob has been active in photography since his 2010 retirement. He is a member of the Trussville Photography Club and the Shades Valley Camera Club and has been honored for his wildlife photographs by the Mt. Laurel Library in Shelby County, Comer Museum of Art in Sylacauga, the Alabama Ornithological Society, the Alabama National Fair of Montgomery, and the Wide Angle Camera Club of Pensacola's “Power of Photography” competition.

Bob also received the 2019 Tom Ulrich Award for "Wildlife Photo of the Year" sponsored by the Shades Valley Camera Club. His primary interest is wildlife but he also tries to find that “perfect” landscape, waterfall or personal interest photo.

The title of his show is “Wander Aimlessly--Enjoy the Outdoors." You are welcome to view Bob's photography at...
