Cahaba Springs Church Members and Friends: Join us this Sunday, September 1 for worship and holy communion at 11. This week our service is led by liturgist Rosemary Holcomb and our Pastor, Dr. James D. McLeod. Dr. McLeod's sermon title is The Place of Honor based on Psalm 82 and Luke 14. Our Chancel Choir provides the anthem, Rivers of Love and Grace.
Our customary first Sunday fellowship luncheon is deferred to our September 22 "Bring a Friend" worship service. Please mark your calendar and watch our web site for additional details.
September 4 marks the resumption of our Wednesday evening suppers, beginning at 5:30, followed by Bible study at 6 and choir rehearsal at 7. See Janet Prevatt to sign up for your night to host the supper.
Each Friday the Chordmakers gather at 5:30 for a covered dish dinner followed by an evening of music featuring Gospel tunes, Bluegrass, and Pops. The crowd keeps growing, but there is still plenty of room for you.
