Love Thy Neighbor Food Drive

Cahaba Springs members and friends, February is our Love Thy Neighbor Food Drive month. Each offering includes your donated food items for TEAM. Immediately following worship Lynda McLean leads the Presbyterian Women in Lesson 6 of Love Carved in Stone. Please bring a salad or dessert; soup and chili will be provided. Our customary Wednesday activities include dinner at 5:30, Bible study at 6, and choir rehearsal at 7. Thursdays Together meets 10–11:30 and Chordmakers meets on Friday at 5:30. Also, Friday is the Presbyterian Home for Children work day. We meet in the parking lot behind Jim ‘N Nicks at 7, have breakfast at Jacks, arrive at the home at 8:30; plan to leave at 2–3 pm. Finally, mark your calendars today for Ash Wednesday, February 26. This month’s discussion led by Leigh Stovall will be on The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. Our ASH Wednesday observance begins at 6.

But first, join us this Sunday for Bible study at 9:30 and worship at 11 led by liturgist Joan Creighton and Pastor James D. McLeod. Dr. McLeod's sermon title is "Before Us Is Blessing," based on Deuteronomy 30 and Matthew 5. Our Chancel Choir offers the anthem, How Blest We Are.

Visit our web site CSPChurch.org for additional worship, study, fellowship, and service opportunities. The peace of Christ be with you.
