Lenten Message: Dying to Self

Cahaba Springs Members and Friends, we change to DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME this SUNDAY. MARCH 8. Be sure to SET YOUR CLOCKS AHEAD one hour on Saturday night. Also Sunday is BLUE T-SHIRT SUNDAY, honoring the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance program, currently hard at work in Nashville. Please wear your T-shirt or a blue shirt.

Join us this Sunday for Bible study at 9:30 led by Leigh Stovall, and worship at 11 led by liturgist John Holcomb and Pastor James D. McLeod. Dr. McLeod's Lenten sermon title is Dying to Self, based on Psalm 121 and Luke 10. Our Chancel Choir offers the anthem, Celtic Prayer, featuring our own Kay Carter, soloist.

Our fellowship and service opportunities include Backpack Buddy, Sunday at 5:30, XYZ's covered dish luncheon on Tuesday, March 10 at 11:30, and Wednesday Bible study at 6 and choir at 7. And more: Thursdays Together from 10–11:30 and Chordmakers on Friday at 5:30.

Visit our web site CSPChurch.org for additional worship, study, fellowship, and service opportunities. The peace of Christ be with you.
