Easter Vigil at Southminster PC

Cahaba Springs members and friends, our friends at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 1124 Montgomery Highway, Vestavia Hills, invite us to their Easter Vigil celebration on Saturday evening. Here is their announcement with details: The Great Vigil of Easter proclaims God's victory over sin and death through Christ's resurrection. A joyful celebration, the service begins by bringing the light back into the sanctuary and concludes with glad fellowship.

The Easter Vigil service will begin at 7 pm Saturday with a gathering at the fire pit and a candlelight procession into the Sanctuary. The Easter Vigil service includes readings from Scripture, hymns and prayer, a reaffirmation of baptism, and the celebration of communion. Following the service, we'll gather at the fire pit for refreshments and fellowship. We are joined in this service by friends from Edgewood, Oakmont, and Cahaba Springs Presbyterian churches. If you are unable to attend in person, it will be live-streamed: https://youtube.com/live/B00n9tift_w?feature=share deNay Kirkpatrick, CRE, Pastor Cahaba Springs Presbyterian Church
