Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 13 at the Presbyterian Home for Children. As noted in the bulletin, this is our regular 8:30 AM workday, however from 2–4 we will dedicate six new Union Village tiny cottages. Union Village is a unique collaboration between PHFC and the world-famous Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind that provides safe affordable housing for AIDB "Sentry" workers. Union Village rent helps support the Home's mission of caring for and educating our state's homeless and abused children. The featured speaker is Mike Royer, retired WVTM TV news anchor. Also speaking will be AIDB president Dr. Dennis Gilliam, Talladega city manager, Seddrick Hill Sr., and our own Doug Marshall. Come for the workday and stay for the dedication, or come to Talladega for the dedication wearing your Cahaba Springs blue T-shirt.
