Cahaba Coming Events

Cahaba Springs Members and friends, here are our coming events...

  • On Saturday, September 26, 10–3 we host a Trussville City Fest booth in Veteran's Park. Several members have signed up to keep Lynda McLean and Karen O'Brien company, meet our neighbors, and enjoy some food from our local vendors. Don't be left out!

  • On Sunday, September 27, 9:30 we meet to view and discuss an inspiring video featuring Debra Fraser of the Total Living Network as she interviews Larry Smith, PhD and Benita McClarin, FACHE, Director of Health and Human Services for Marin County, California. Dr. Smith directed the clinical laboratory at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York for 30 years. They participate in a Covid-19 conversation, applying their spiritual insights.

  • Then join us this Sunday, September 27 at 11 for in-person worship, live-streamed worship on YouTube, and recorded worship on Facebook. Rev. Debbie Feagin is our guest pastor and Lynda McLean is our liturgist. Click here for our Order of Worship: OOW-September-27--2020.pdf .

  • On Saturday, October 3 at 9 the PW will meet to prepare Chrismon ornaments and clean our storeroom. Everyone is welcome [even the men].

  • Finally, mark your calendars for Sunday, October 11 at 9:30 and 11 as we welcome back missionaries Lauren and Derek Webber for the Sunday School hour and worship.

  • Our weekly "Zoom" activities, including office hours, Bible study, and virtual lunch are deferred and will resume the week of October 5.

The peace of the Lord be with you.
