Bible Study Today, Sunday 7/26 Worship and Activities

Cahaba Springs members, friends, and "virtual friends," please join us for worship Sunday, July 26 at 11. Leading this week is liturgist Carl Martin and pastor James D. McLeod, whose message is entitled "Nothing." Kay and Joe Carter provide our instrumental offerings. If you choose to shelter at home, click, download and print this week's order of worship, readings, and prayer list: OOW-7-26-20.pdf . Our worship is live-streamed at 11 on YouTube and a recorded copy appears on our Facebook page later Sunday afternoon. Our Wednesday Bible study, "Zoomed" [click today] from 6–7, wraps up the Epistle of Paul to the Romans and begins with I Corinthians. Catch up with your friends as we reflect on the theology and spirituality of Paul's writings. Also, this Sunday, 7-26-20 we meet in Fellowship Hall during the 9:30–10:30 Church School hour to participate in our Racial Inequality discussion led by Dr. McLeod and Mr. Martin. We will mask and observe social distancing as we unite in this important ministry. Mark your calendar for a special worship service on Sunday, August 23, 2020 when we welcome missionaries Lauren and Derek Webber, who "grew up" at Eastminster Presbyterian and who now serve the medical community of Chogoria, Kenya. Many of us know the Webbers and support their ministry. For more information, click on  Webber-Bio-7-17-20.pdf . Finally, don your mask and visit our Cahaba Lilly and Genesis Galleries, now showing miniatures by several members of the Cahawba Art Association and additional Trussville residents, including our own Margaret Fritsma and Laura Reichert. We also feature photos by renowned local photographer, Robert Quarles. While you are here, visit our office to drop off your tithe or share your prayer needs through Yvonne. You may also mail your contribution to Cahaba Springs Church, 6110 Deerfoot Parkway, Trussville 35173 or click or tap here for our online contribution service. The peace of Christ be with you.
